Wine tasting
The Ardèche is known for its tasty table wines
Red: The Merlot and the Cabernet Chauvignon
White: The Chardonay and the Viognier
Rosé: the Gris de Grenache
Most villages have their own Cooperative cave.
The farmers of the village bring their grapes during the harvest in September to the cooperative where the local wine is made.
The nearest cooperative to us is Berrias where you can taste the local wine.
You can also taste wine at a private vineyard. There the farmer produces his own wines.
Near us are:
Domaine de Bournet
Domaine de Chazalis,
Château de la Selve,
Domaine du Terriers and many others
Real wine lovers can make a daytrip to the famous Chateauneuf Du Pape (100, about 1,5 hour drive)
near to the Mont Ventoux
